Photographer, instructor and author Stephen Burns has a series of excellent short tutorials on beginning and advanced subjects. You can even learn to calibrate your printer. Scroll down about halfway through his list of tutorials to find the beginning and advanced topics.

You can sign up for online training for Photoshop at lynda.com based on either a monthly or yearly fee. This site is an excellent resource for leaning many software programs.
CreativeLive
CreativeLive is a web site where you can watch tutorials on photography, Lightroom, andPhotoshop. When a class is being broadcast "live," you can watch it free. Optionally, you can also purchase unlimited viewing rights to any of their classes. Highly recommended are the Photoshop classes taught by Ben Willmore and Leza Snyder. You must create an account to participate, but doing so does not obligate you financially in any way unless you decide to purchase a class. Previously broadcast classes are available for purchase and include the files demonstrated in the lessons. Ben Willmore also offers a PDF of the material that he covers in class. Check the site schedule to see what is being offered so that you can take advantage of the free live sessions.
